Private Lessons
Torrey is always looking for dedicated, responsible, and enthusiastic students to teach! Her goal as a teacher is to develop well-rounded musicians of all ages and levels, and make music fun to learn! Students will focus on the basics of flute playing, but will learn and develop their own individual creativity and expression in the music.
Students in Torrey's studio are expected to practice daily and come to lessons prepared in order to get the most out of the time they have together. Each week, students will be assigned scales and other repertoire to work on. Additional assignments in listening, music history, or music theory may also be included.
Required Materials: working flute, music stand, metronome, tuner, and Flute Notebook.
